Within Scots College is the new John Cunningham Student Centre. This new addition was an upgrade to the existing Stevenson Library building. An important aspect of the project was to maintain the Scots Baronial design to reinforce the College’s rich history and traditions. This included the use of traditional materials, styles and techniques of the period. Bailey Interiors worked closely with JCA Architects to meet the vision of the project. The scope of works were extensive . It contained 99 plaster columns, of various sizes and heights, of which each column required 24 components to complete. There was the center piece - a custon waratah ceiling centre, domes, bands, housing units and ventilation grilles, rope moulds and so much more. This was truly a unique project that will no doubt showcase the building's intention
